We’d just like to say one GIANT big fat thank you to every single one of you, for making Bristol Jazz and Blues Festival 2015 by far our best year yet! To all of you lovely Bristol people, you stylish jazz-heads, you saucy swing dancers and those of you who travelled cross-country to be there – you jived, you danced, you sang your heart out and you, quite frankly, you made the festival what it was!

Over the weekend there were some very special moments that we’ll never forget. Did you catch Pee Wee Ellis and Lillian Boutté’s spontaneous duet in the foyer at 1am Sunday night? Did you witness the Louis Armstrong Story make history, with the most incredible collection of New Orleans musicians in one place for a completely unique show never to be repeated? Did you see the legend that is Dr John tinkling the ivory keys with mesmerising black magic at his completely sold out show? And did you see Big Jeff dressed as Woody from Toy Story having a 6-way play shoot-out with some kids in the foyer? No doubt you have many more moments to add, needless to say there truly was magic in the air this weekend!

So, how can we possibly top this year? Well, we’re not denying it’s going to be hard!
