Festival Postponement

It is with much regret that the producers of the Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival have taken the decision to postpone the event. The restrictions of travel have already impacted on our artists, but more importantly we have a duty of care to our audiences and performers.

In this current climate we feel it is not responsible to go ahead with our festival. We really appreciate all the support you've already given to us through buying tickets to our festival and sharing this years exciting programme of events with your friends and family. We'd also like to thank everyone who has donated to our crowdfunding campaign and have supported in numerous ways over the last year.

We are in discussion with artists and venues to explore all options in terms of rescheduling performances to the autumn and we will present a revised programme by April. We ask that you kindly bear with us while we work through this unprecedented scenario.

We will honour refunds should it not be possible to reschedule the event you’ve bought tickets to, or you do not wish to transfer your ticket to the new date. If you are in a position to be able to waive your refund and treat your ticket as a donation to the Festival we would be extremely grateful. Bristol Jazz & Blues Festival is a charity and does not have regular funding, it survives on ticket income and small project grants.

We hope you understand why we've taken this decision and we will update you as soon as our new plans take shape.
