Emily Breeze’s 2019 album Rituals saw comparisons “A 21st Century Patti Smith ” (Tom Robinson BBC Radio 6) and “The seedy kitchen sink romance of Pulp, the glamorous artful tragedy of Nick Cave ” (God is in the T.V). Her songs channel the spirit of outsiders and anti heroes spiked with black humour and glittering with degraded glamour set to a beautifully crafted pop noir backdrop which draws influence from Vintage Exotica, David Lynch, Jarvis Cocker and LCD Soundsystem.

“Torch song tragedy, swathed in black humour” (Mojo Magazine)
“A Lou Reed, Trent Reznor hybrid” (The NME)
“The lovechild of P.J Harvey and Johnny Cash (The Sunday Times)
“Emily Breeze is a bona fide star, her intense musical vision is a jaw dropping experience” (Louder Than War)

Showcase artist: JODIE MELLOR

Stripping down the frilly world of pop to its bare bones is Bristol based singer songwriter, Jodie Mellor. Her raw vocals and honest tales of being a herbal tea enthusiast in a world of pornstar martinis, is refreshing of a new, feel good age, with hints of genre nostalgia.
