Hall 1 will be transformed into a 1940s style ballroom for this very special event. Featuring 17 of the South West’s best musicians, the aim is simple; to recreate the golden era of Swing.
This was the era when jazz music was pop music; when artists such as Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Harry James sold millions of records and entertained dancers and listeners alike with their infectious brand of big band jazz.
Get your dancing shoes on for a night of Lindy Hopping, Jitterbugging and Jiving courtesy of the Bruce/Ilett Big Band!
Dress code: 1930s-50s.
Friday, March 7. Tickets £12
