SOUL SISTERS

We have an incredible line-up of world-class women headlining this year’s festival including Melody Gardot, Lisa Simone, Clare Teal and Claire Martin.

Grammy nominee Melody Gardot’s extraordinary voice and rare combination of natural talent and musical sophistication hold audiences all over the world in the palm of her hand. Melody will open the festival on March 18th.

Lisa Simone, daughter of the legendary Nina, recently produced the Oscar nominated documentary ‘What Happened, Miss Simone?’ but she is very much an artist in her own right, writing her own music alongside heartfelt musical tributes to her mother.

BBC radio regulars and jazz vocalists extraordinaire, Clare Teal and Claire Martin, make a welcome return to this year’s festival. Clare Teal will perform alongside Joe Stilgoe as part of our Perfectly Frank show, paying tribute to Frank Sinatra. Claire Martin will perform some of the great jazz duets alongside Ray Gelato.
