Our 2018 Line-up Revealed

We’re back with another jam-packed weekend of free and ticketed concerts, dancing, jam sessions and workshops from 15 to 18 March 2018. This year we present a dazzling programme of jazz and film commissions, an all-star line-up celebrating 50 years of Electric Ladyland and a host of both legendary and rising jazz and blues stars...

From 15 – 18 March, Colston Hall, the Folk House, Bambalan and The Forge will play host to a programme offering a rich programme of the very best of traditional and cutting edge jazz.

Our stellar programme of events includes Bristol's own jazz supergroup Get the Blessing, Cult Fiction Live!'s exploration of jazz influenced Film/TV soundtracks, Dame Evelyn Glennie collaborating with Ant Law's Trio HLK, saxophonist Lee Konitz, Snowpoet, pianist Ivo Neame and clarinetist Arun Ghosh's blend of jazz, Indian music, hip-hop, rock and pop. Marking 50 years since the release of Electric Ladyland, an all-star 16 piece line up featuring Iain Bellamy, Yazz Ahmed and Laura Judd perform the entire album in sequence.

The programme also includes one of the UK's finest blues and R&B players Chris Corcoran and his seven-piece band, Enrico Tomasso and his swinging high class quintet, the now legendary Big Swing jiving to the dazzling Bruce/Illet Big Band, jazz guitarists Martin Taylor and Ulf Wakenius, the return of Cartoon Jazz II, a nostalgic and joyful look back at cartoon soundtracks from the 40's to the noughties and a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Cream's legendary 1968 'farewell' concert with Cream '68.

And that's just the tip of the musical iceberg, for our full line-up read on or visit the WHAT'S ON page of our website.
